AFIA’S establishment is primarily brought about by the lack of legiti-mate and true transformative engagement agenda with African Intermediaries which is the major cause of a seriously aging interme-diary population with no fresh blood attraction to the industry due to no successful role models in economic terms to look up to although playing a pivotal financial literacy and experience role to the more than 80% part of the population, which is totally misaligned to the new sustainable Economic, Political and Social imperatives of South Africa as gateway to the broader African continent landscape.
